Handpicked Africa conducts sales trips and road shows throughout the UK. We make it our business to know all the key agents and we visit them regularly so our clients are in the forefront of their minds when an enquiry comes in. Often with a high staff turnover, it is essential that new sales team members have had training on the product, and we keep our finger on the pulse of new agencies and new staff.

OVERSEAS MARKETING
While our day to day agent visits are within in the UK, our marketing reach is global. Handpicked Africa has built an excellent database of tour operators in all the leading markets. We conduct Zoom presentations or webinars to train sales teams and occasionally conduct optional overseas sales trips.

MARKET INTELLIGENCE
We keep on top of market intelligence and send our clients reports on current travel trends and future predictions.

COMMUNICATIONS
Having developed a brand identity for our clients, we communicate this message using different marketing channels and tools. We're young enough to bridge the gap to the next generation of travellers and we have our finger on the pulse in targeting this market through current trends in social media.

TRADE / CONSUMER TRAVEL SHOWS
We attend all main travel trade shows in the UK and worldwide, including PURE, We Are Africa and Do Not Disturb. We have also collaborated with a handful of the best global representation companies and developed our own invitation only, very targeted, 3 day trade show in the UK called Around the World.  

EDUCATIONAL TRIPS / ITINERARY PLANNING
Handpicked Africa will organise, and escort if necessary, educational trips for the tour operators to experience your property first hand. Similarly we will set up a meeting schedule and a complete itinerary if the property owner comes to the UK to do a personal sales tour.

PRESS
Handpicked Africa focuses on trade marketing, however we can work closely with your PR team to dovetail strategies and align narratives.
