Located on the banks of a dry river with surrounding views of the majestic Matthews Mountains, Kalepo Camp is a private use, family friendly, luxury tented camp which offers exclusive use of 460,000 acres straddling both sides of the Matthews Mountains. It is nestled in the heart of Samburuland, Northern Kenya, where people and wildlife co-exist as they have done for centuries.

From authentic kijijis (Samburu villages) to herds of elephant, singing wells to soaring mountains, Kalepo Camp is a uniquely wild destination from which to explore the diversity of the impressive “Big North.”

Kalepo Camp has its own airstrip about 20 minutes drive away. There are no scheduled flights to the airstrip so guests will take a private charter.
